Past Queen Testimonials

As the 2021 Louisiana Crawfish Festival Queen, I was absolutely blessed to spend my year as queen traveling across the state of Louisiana alongside some amazing girls. I also worked hand and hand with the Knights of Columbus Rummel Council 5747 and the Lady Auxiliary. Attending the socials was always filled with fun and laughter. One of my favorite memories as the 18th Queen was placing top 15 at the Louisiana Association of Fairs and Festivals Convention, as this was my first time participating as a queen. Being a Louisiana Crawfish Queen, you are truly set for life, you become a part of the family even after your reign is over. This festival and title will forever hold a special place in my heart not only because it was my first ever Miss title but because of everything it stands for.

I was your 2017 Teen Louisiana Crawfish Festival Queen, and my entire reign was a complete blessing. Every social was a chance to grow a closer bond to the Knights & ladies, and every event traveled was one filled with pride and love for the Louisiana Crawfish Festival. Being able to experience the festival as a queen was an experience in itself, for the Knights truly treat you like a queen, and continue to do so for years on. Being a Louisiana Crawfish Queen allows you to not only represent a festival, but it also makes you the face of a foundation that gives more than the average person can ever imagine, and become family to the most selfless people you will ever meet.

As the 2019 & 2020 Louisiana Crawfish Festival queen, I was able to experience this amazing blessing for two years. Being a queen that represents this organization is once in a lifetime, and truly something special. One of my favorite memories was helping out at the Lake Charles food drive with my knights, because I was able to get to know them all and grow a strong bond with them. No matter who you are or where you are from, they immediately welcome you in as family, and treat you like true royalty. The support you get is unreal, and reigning over the 2021 festival will be a memory that I cherish forever. I will always come back to help my LA Crawfish Family, and am beyond excited to see how this legacy carries out in the future.

I was Miss Louisiana Crawfish Festival Queen VII. My favorite memory was going to Cisco’s house for a BBQ gathering during my reign. Overall, my experience with the board and knights was superior. Everyone involved with the festival and pageant are such kind people. They welcomed my family and I with open arms and treated us as if they’ve known us our entire lives. There is no such thing as a stranger within the Crawfish Festival family. As the Miss queen, this title will always be my favorite. I’ve held multiple festival and fair titles during my pageant career, but none of them compare to this one. I would tell contestants to give 100% if given the opportunity to reign over this festival. It’s one of a kind and it will have a special place in your heart forever.
