Miss Louisiana Crawfish Festival Queen XXI
Caleigh Remondet

Hey everyone, my name is Caleigh Remondet and I am honored to have been crowned Louisiana Crawfish Festival Queen XXI. I am 17 years old attending Dutchtown high school as a dual enrolled student. Something I enjoy is showing livestock as apart of the Ascension parish livestock team. In my free time, I enjoy doing makeup and volunteering with Team of Dreams Gonzales. Something that is very special to me is helping others understand the importance of veterans through The Remembrance Project which I created. Being a Crawfish queen has been my dream for years now and I am privileged to finally say it’s true. Along my year I hope to inform many of the Louisiana Crawfish Fest Foundation’s mission of charity and all the hard work our Knights of Columbus and ladies auxiliary put into this festival. This year is sure to be “golden” so join me as we celebrate 50 years of the Louisiana Crawfish Festival March 20th-23rd. Pinch ya later!

Teen Louisiana Crawfish Festival Queen XIX
Sydney Faucheaux

Hey y’all, my name is Sydney Faucheaux and I am truly honored to have the privilege of being the Teen Louisiana Crawfish Festival Queen XIX. I am 16 years old and a junior enrolled in University View Academy and NOCCA where I study theatre. Some hobbies of mine include dancing, acting, hanging out with family and friends, and I also enjoy helping out in my community and parish. God knew what He was doing when He gave me a friend in the pageant industry who pushed me to compete with her for Crawfish. I was hesitant at first because my first 2 times competing in pageants I felt God tell me “not yet” but this time around, I felt content in my heart, and with a lot of faith and trusting in the Lord’s plan for me, I was crowned on June 8th, along with my Miss Queen Caleigh, who just so happened to be the friend who pushed me to compete again, after two “not yet’s”. God’s “not yet” is not necessarily a “no” but a “hold on, I have something better for you” and I am so grateful that I didn’t give up or let myself be discouraged. I am blessed to have the opportunity to be able to advocate and inform others of the Louisiana Crawfish Festival, it’s foundation, the Knights of Columbus Rummel Council 5747, their Ladies Auxiliary, and all of the dedication that they put into the festival. We want to invite you to come out of your shell and join us as we celebrate 50 years of the Louisiana Crawfish Festival where you’re sure to pass a good time!

The Miss and Teen LA Crawfish Festival Pageant is held in early summer. The pageant consist of three parts: interview, on stage introductions, and evening gown competition. All contestants will need two outfits for the day: business suit, and an evening gown.  Contestants are responsible for providing their own hair and make up as well as their wardrobe. All contestants should be prepared to speak on the mic and answer simple questions about themselves and the festival. Please review our contracts prior to completing an application. We are excited that you are considering competing for this title!
